About Us

We are Nino and Lorna Elliott…..Nino and Lo for short. We were both born in Jamaica but we both grew up in Toronto Canada. My family landed a few years before Nino got here so that makes me more of a Canuck…lol. We met in Junior High School and have been together ever since, we grew up together. It’s been at least 40 years. We have three adult children and a new grandbaby that we are madly in love with.

Our three adult children are currently back living at home, this situation lends itself to all the drama, good and bad that a multi-generational home provides.

In Febuary 2021 Nino and I were recovering from our first round of COVID.  We spent many days sitting in two lounge chairs in front of our big picture window just staring out at the world in our weakened state.We spent our time talking for hours about everything. During one of those conversations we came up with the idea of creating a YouTube channel. We had been told so many times in the past that our household deserves it’s own reality show….lol. We put the idea to our kids but they were not fans of the idea, they doubted our ability. That planted the seed in us to prove them wrong. The very next day while sitting at the window, affectionately named the “Informer Window” Nino and Lo was born….we filmed our first video for our new YouTube Channel. We sat there and just talked, we were just being ourselves and looking a little worst for wear as we were still recovering.

That was almost a year ago and we’ve come a long way. We’ve taught ourselves how to navigate around social media, we make video’s about gardening and cooking and sometimes we shed a little light on the shenanigans that go on at our house.

We are so excited to launch our website, we hope to provide useful information to the masses as we grow and learn ourselves.
